Cambridge has some success of its own at Sixes

Not often we have had one pair, let alone two collect prizes for bridge at the Sixes. Dressing up is usually more our strength!

So we were delighted to be able to applaud first Eunice and Calum for coming third in the Junior section and then Kim and Karen for coming second in the intermediate section. Kim and Karen had hovered between 1st and 3rd place for most of the day so full credit to them for hanging on in there, which is no mean feat. Sadly their open team did not show the same steadiness in the final round and suffered a loss, which knocked them out of contention but also meant that team Patience dropped from 2nd to 7th position, just behind the prize line up.  However that was still a great team result for Cambridge as well as very diplomatic :)
