Karen and Kim are the 2018 Cambridge SIxes Intermediate Super Stars!

Huge congratulations to Kim and Karen who won the CB SIxes Intermediate competition.  The pressure was on from after round one when they obtained the lead. By the end of round 5 they had succeeded in five significant wins . So when they entered the last round they were 12 VPs ahead of their closest opponents and while they did have their first loss that round, they had done enough to hang on! They were particularly delighted as they came second last year. Photo to follow.

Their colourful team, Flower Power, was also the highest performing CB team finishing 9th overall out of the 44 teams.  Don and Neil Cox were their open pair finishing 19th in the Opens (best result for Cambridge) while Beth and Sue McKenzie paired up in the junior section. Well played to all of them!

Best Cambridge pairings in the junior section were Kay and Irenee who finished 16th.
