Cambridge's Intermediate tournament is a triumph

Saty and Calum

Cambridge bridge club members did themselves and their club proud at today's intermediate tournament.  The rooms were brimming with anticipation with 84 keen players at the start of the day.  By the end, they looked slightly worn for wear but were still smiling. Thanks to some great baking, players were temped with tasty sweet treats and tasty morsels before and after play. And there was sustenance offered in the form of yummy filled rolls midway.  The raffle priizes looked fabulous and the fruit cake baked in Barbara Poynton's honour was the first prize to be claimed.  Members helped throughout the day; a huge thank you to every one of you.
