Congratulations to our intermediate players who shone at our annual tournament

So often we do not have winners at our own tournament.... but that was not the case today.  Well played:

Saty and Calum who finished 2nd overall

Eunice and Malcolm who finished top in the morning and 4th overall

Liz and Gail who came top N-S in the afternoon and won the session prize 

Great to see them all do so well. And they weren't alone; many of our players came towards the top of a session. Nice to see Anne and Sue Peake finished 9th, Dayelle and Ruth 12th, Gail and Liz 14th and Margaret and Ayako 15th.

Regardless of the end result, I was proud of the spirit in which the game was played.  The atmosphere was tangibly happy and players enjoyed themselves.  Well done everyone for whatever part they played to make it a happy day.
