Bridge in the gardens becomes bridge at home!!

Bridge inside Sue's beautiful home

Sunday started fine and sunny. We were all outside under the beautiful trees that are part of Sue and Tim's garden when the weather changed. Thunder and rain arrived and it was a quick trip to transport all of the tables, chairs and cards inside and under the shelter of Sue's out door area.

Everyone adapted quickly and the afternoon progressed smoothly. A rainbow movement organised by Liz worked well and lots of spots prizes for the amazing things people had done in their lives.

A  bbq followed and we ate inside. Beautiful salads and deserts supplied by the participants and tasty steak and sausages supplied by the club along with refreshments!

A huge thank you must go to Sue and Tim for this gorgeous venue and all that they did getting ready for the event. They also were very adaptable and let us all come into their home to play when circumstances changed. Tim was also a  barbequer extraordinaire.

A thank you to the committee members who helped set up and transport the gear and organised the food. A thank you to Simon (Liz's husband ) and David ( Anne's husband) who helped transport and set up/down as well.

A fun afternoon getting to know some of our club members better in a lovely setting.
