Tauranga successes

Great to see so many Cambridge members travel over to Tauranga today. Playing in tournaments best way to grow and develop your bridge game, especially if you are establishing a partnership.

And this showed in the results with Michele Liddle and Deslee Howell winning the intermediate tournament and Sue Keating and Steve Hunt coming third.  Both pairs have played a number of tournaments together.  

In the junior section, Anne Tankard and novice player Alex Wallace should be proud to finish 10th.

Well done to Deirdre Freed and Matamata partner Wilma Zeedijk for finishing 7th. 

But we cannot all finish well and I herald everyone who took part and enjoyed the day.
