Its time for our annual fun bridge in the gardens. We are very fortunate to be going to Sue Aitkens again for another fabulous afternoon of bridge. A beautiful venue with mature trees for shade. 248B Tauwhare road
Monday and Wednesday night teams
Monday night teams are coming up soon! As the year is 2020 The Theme for the series is The Past 20 years. The clipboard for you to enter your team is at the front of the club. Pre entry is required by the 26th February. Join in the fun!
Wednesday night teams take place in May. The theme for these is The Future 20 years. Use your imagination.
Monday night Partnership steward change
For the next two weeks Di Emms is away and Anne Blewden will sub for her as Monday partnership steward. Di returns on the 12th February and will be back ready for the Monday 17th February.
For the next two weeks please contact Anne if you need help. The Monday night sheets will continue to go out next Monday and please fill out and return to the club so that we know who may be available. If you would like a partner for particular evenings please put it on your sheet.

It was very special to be able to share with long time member Marie Wilson her 90th birthday on Thursday afternoon.

Subscriptions for 2020
Your committee is agreed that from 2020 on we will be using Hello Club to handle the annual subscriptions. A Subscription Renewal email has been sent to all members: the half-dozen we cannot reach this way will be receiving a printed invoice.
AGM, Christmas dinner and prizegiving.
A lovely evening on Monday started with the AGM. The AGM confirmed your new committee for 2020. The Presidents report is attached if you were unable to be there.
Clare receives life membership at AGM
It was with huge pleasure that we at the Cambridge bridge club could give Clare a well deserved life membership! She was overwhelmed with the honour. We can't think of anyone who deserved it more!
