Our Kevin .. Top Weight in the X-Clubs Handicapping

Check out this week's new XG Ratings (it takes a few seconds to load). Kevin has hit the top.These ratings are calculated weekly for the 3000-odd players of X-Club deals - that includes us here at Cambridge. (You can find your name using CTRL-F if you want to see how you're doing.)

The weekly XG ratings calculation takes into account your current rating, your partners' ratings and the "strength" of the sessions you've played in to work out your new rating for the week ahead. For any session you play Compass averages you and your partner's ratings to set you a target score - think of it as similar to a handicap. If you exceed that it will contribute to your rating increasing next week: fall short and you may see a decrease. You can read more about it if you want by clicking here.

So you can see this is quite a big deal for Kevin to rate higher than the next four on the list - two Silver Grandmasters and two Gold (Blair has just gone gold - just not official yet). Clare and Di are in the top 30 as well. And we all knew them before they were famous!
