Beth and Josie win Cambridge's Intermediate tournament

 On Sunday Beth Kingsley and Josie van Weerd won our Intermediate tournament. Many congratulations to them. A 70 percent score in the afternoon clinched the win for them!

3 out of four top places were won by Cambridge pairs. Leonie Sentch and Irenee Stewart came third and Jenny Oxley and Margaret Oliver fourth.  Jenny and Margaret  won a session prize.

It was a fun tournament with players from as far away as New Plymouth competing. Michael directed and scored. 

It was also the conclusion of the intermediate league which was won in a three way split for First by three Thames members.

Thank you to all the people that supplied the lovely morning and afternoon tea and items for the raffle. Also the players that helped on the day and helped tidy up. It was a TEAM effort.
